What is Gold Class Cinemas?
Gold Class is the new way to go to the movies. Spacious, comfortable theaters and seats are paired with upscale, affordable dinner and drinks to make it the ultimate escape for movie lovers.  It’s the future of movie going, merging technology and entertainment for movie lovers.

How is it different from other movie theaters?
Gold Class is often compared to flying first class, and actually, customers say it’s better.   Select your seat online prior to arriving at the theatre.  Instead of waiting in line for 30 minutes prior to the movie start, relax in the lounge, peruse the menu of easy-to-eat comfort food prepared fresh by an in-house chef and enjoy a drink from the fully stocked bar which includes a varied and extensive selection of wine by the bottle and by the glass, as well as an international selection of beers on tap and by the bottle.  Retreat into your theater 5–10 minutes prior to the start of the movie, where each seat is equipped with a call button to order dinner, drinks and snacks throughout the movie.  Sit back and relax while nestled in a Gold Class Cinemas blanket and enjoy the comfort of your own pillow. 

Is Gold Class Cinemas smaller than a regular movie theater?
Most Gold Class theaters are the size of a standard 150 seat movie theater, however, with 40 or less seats.  The difference is a fully reclining plush chair and slightly lit table for food and drink. Gold Class provides an intimate, gold-standard experience; it’s like watching a movie in a private screening room. There is no ‘bad seat’ at Gold Class - the front row is 25 feet from the screen.

Do you still offer popcorn and candy?
Yes, of course! We have regular popcorn which is popped to order as well as delicious gourmet popcorn in flavors such as Rocky Road or Smores. We also carry all of the common candies, but we serve them Gold Class style in martini glasses.

Can I come to Gold Class for dinner or drinks without seeing a movie?
Yes, we have a great lounge, perfect for hanging out. Of course the ultimate Gold Class experience involves a movie, too!

TICKETS

Do I have to make a reservation?
We recommend always making a reservation. Because we have a maximum of 40 seats per cinema, we sell out quickly.

When do tickets go on sale?
Our schedule for the new week typically goes on sale by Tuesday mornings, although is subject to vary. For example, if you are looking for seats on a Friday, we recommend going online or giving us a call on Tuesday to secure your reservation. Sometimes we will put advance tickets on sale for popular upcoming films such as Twilight Eclipse, Inception, and others. We send e-blasts to our members to alert them of such opportunities to book early, so sign up or visit our website often!

Do you offer group discounts?
We do not discount our tickets, but we do offer packages for private events at a great value. Packages include tickets and food and beverage offerings, priced per person, and require a full-cinema booking.

How many movies do you have playing and when?
Show times begin as early as 11am and the last show typically begins in the 10 o’clock hour.
PASADENA has 6 screens and shows 6-8 films each week. REDMOND has 7 screens and shows up to 8 films each week. ALL OTHER SITES have 8 screens and screen up to 9 films each week.

How do I book tickets online?
Select the Showtimes & Tickets link at the top. Follow the steps to select your location, date, film, and time.

I can’t book online…
You may contact your local Gold Class Cinemas and make your reservations over the phone.  For theatre information, please visit our locations page.

It doesn’t say the show I want is sold out, but it won’t let me buy tickets.
Usually what this means is there is only 1 seat available, so when you select a quantity higher than that it cannot process the transaction.

I’m buying tickets and it is asking for a voucher code…
If you don’t have any vouchers, then you may simply skip that step. Click the ‘continue’ button at the bottom of the page. Do not click ‘add to order’ or you will get stuck on this page.

How do I book tickets using a voucher?
After selecting your film and the number of admits, there will be a box that asks for your Premium Ticket Code.  Enter the barcode on the back of the voucher and click Add to Order to continue.

How do I use a gift card to make a reservation online?
Once you arrive at the payment screen, under ‘card type’ select ‘gift card’. Enter the long barcode number on the back of the gift card, starting with 6035… into the field for ‘card number’. There is a field asking for CVV number, this number is located on the lower right hand corner of the gift card. You may need to scratch off the silver foil to see it. For the expiration date field, simply select any date in the future to enter here.

MEMBERSHIP

How do I become a member?
Click on the Become a Member link on the upper right-hand corner. Enter in the data requested. Make sure the barcode field is left completely blank. Once you have signed up, you can go back in to update your membership card barcode information. You will receive an activation email at the email address you used to sign up. You must activate your account to complete sign up. It’s completely free to join and comes with lots of great benefits.

How do I enter the barcode on my new membership card?
First, log in to your account with your email address and password. Then you will see a link to click that says ‘need to update barcode’. Select this and you will be able to enter the code on your card. That’s it! Your membership card is now linked to your account.

OTHER

Do you have a dress code?
No, Gold Class does not have a dress code.

Are kids allowed at Gold Class?
Gold Class does not discriminate against anyone for any reason, age included. The only exception is in Redmond due to the liquor laws, guests must be 21 years of age or older for entry. It is not permitted to share seats due to fire code restrictions.

Do you have a children’s menu?
PASADENA, AUSTIN, and REDMOND do not have a specific children’s menu at this time, but we do offer many kid-friendly items such as pizza, pasta, and burgers. SOUTH BARRINGTON, BOLINGBROOK and FAIRVIEW do offer a children’s menu including cheese pizza, chicken fingers with BBQ sauce, burgers and grilled cheese. Prices range from $7 - $9 per entrée.

Do you offer hearing-impaired assistance devices and open-captioning?
We offer Assisted Listening Devices for hearing-impaired guests. At this time we do not have open-captioning technology, but are continuously investigating ways to serve all of our guests at the highest level. Gold Class Cinemas is compliant with all ADA requirements.
